NEW N-4B MITTEN FUR BACK

These mittens are a part of the E.C.W.C.S. (Extreme Cold Weather Clothing System) system for keeping GI's warm. They have a heavy duty nylon shell with water-resistant leather palms, and heavy wool-pile backings for warming your face up. There is a system of straps on the lower back side that are designed to attach to your jacket so they can hang freely to dry when you're not wearing them. They have nylon inserts that snap together to keep your hands warm, and are designed to fit the wool glove liners (#003609) for even more elemental protection. These are surplus items in new condition.
